Pakyong Airport (PYG) / Bagdogra (IXB)
Pakyong is Sikkim's only airport, connecting Kolkata and Delhi. Bagdogra (West Bengal) remains the primary gateway with flights from most major Indian cities.
Weather can delay flights to Pakyong — keep a buffer day.
New Jalpaiguri Station (NJP)
NJP is the nearest major railway station, well‑connected to Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai and Guwahati. From NJP, shared taxis and private cabs run to Gangtok.

NH10 via Siliguri
Sikkim is connected by NH10 through scenic valleys along the Teesta river. Regular buses and shared taxis operate from Siliguri, Darjeeling and Kalimpong.
